I worked for a management consultant firm for 23 years, developing systems for management. Developed continuous improvement projects which focused on process development, cost reduction and organizational development. Objective of course was the increase of productivity without sacrificing quality or customer service. The traveling was great and enjoyed most bringing my wife and girls on business trips with me to Paris, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, South America and all across the United States.

After my consulting, I wanted to slow down the hectic business pace and traveling to stay closer to home. The girls were out of the house and married. I decided now to become a licensed Realtor / Broker, in Florida. I work in residential and commercial property. I am a member of the Florida Associates of Realtors and enjoy every day working for Swann & Associates in DeLand Florida.

I so enjoy being home now and find being involved in my community the greatest reward. I am a member of Rotary International for 7 years. I am the Past President of the Rotary of Deland Club for 2007-2008. I was honored with Rotarian of the Year 2003, 2004 and in 2005, received the “Service above Self” Award and received Rotarian of the year last year 2006. We Rotarians have a live Television Auction to raise money to fight polio and support our local projects. We just raised funds to help the Volusia County Sherriff's Department purchase a Disaster Relief Mobile Kitchen which was badly needed during our hurricanes and recent tornado disasters.
